Signature View and Report

Signature View

• Available in the Book module alongside Ladder View and Grid View.
• Arranges your book pages into 16-page signatures — the chunks of pages used in the printing process.
• You can interact with pages, make assignments, and open pages in Signature View just as in other views.
• Each signature has a flag at the top showing its signature number.
• Click a signature flag from another view (e.g., Ladder) to jump directly into Signature View at that signature.

Signature Completion Report

1. In the Book module, go to the Export menu.
2. Choose Signature Completion Report.
3. Set your parameters:
   • By default, it shows signatures with 4 or fewer unsubmitted pages — adjustable to 6 or 8.
   • Optionally exclude signatures with unedited pages.
   • Optionally exclude pages assigned to your final deadline.
4. Run the report — eDesign generates a PDF showing:
   • Signatures that meet your criteria.
   • Thumbnails of unsubmitted pages with their topic, current status, and assigned deadline.
