Reconciling Order Center Names
How Unreconciled Names Are Created
- When a purchase is made on the Yearbook Order Center, the buyer must associate the sale with a student or staff name.
- If the buyer picks a name from your eDesign name list, the sale is automatically associated in eDesign.
- If the buyer enters a name not found on the list, the sale comes back to eDesign as an unreconciled name that must be manually linked to the correct name record.
Reconciling Names
- In the Names area of eDesign, look for the reconciliation alert showing the number of unreconciled order center names.
- Click the alert to open the Reconciliation Wizard.
- The order center name appears at the top.
- Your name list appears at the bottom — filtered by default to Likely Matches.
- Select the correct matching name from the list, then click Combine with Name List Record and confirm.
- The wizard automatically advances to the next unreconciled name.
- If the Likely Matches filter doesn’t show the right name, click Show All Names to search the full list.
- If the student is not in your name list, use Promote to Name List — eDesign creates a new name record and associates the sale with it.
