The Coverage Report in eDesign compares your name list against what is actually in your book, so you can build a more inclusive yearbook. Find it under the Reports tab.
How the Coverage Report Works
Your name list contains everyone in your school population. When you click Refresh, eDesign reads every text frame in your book for those names and checks all name tags on images. The report then shows how many times each person appears and on which pages.
Filtering Your Results
The filter panel on the right narrows the report to the students you care about. For example, filter to seniors who appear only one or two times, then narrow further to seniors who have purchased a book. Click Reset to clear all filters.
Using the Data
Export any filtered list to get a targeted group you can act on:
- Under-covered students: Target these students for upcoming coverage, or use the list with Send and Sell to request candid photos directly from them.
- Over-covered students: Flip the filter to find who appears too often.
Check your Coverage Report regularly as you build pages so you can correct gaps while there is still room in the book.
