Adobe Express: Text Graphics

Adobe Express lets you create custom headline treatments and text layouts that can be published as graphics in your eDesign art library. Here’s how:

  • Open a canvas: In the Art library, go to Options > Create in Adobe Express. Open a blank canvas.
  • Click Text in the left panel. Browse available headline styles and click one to apply. Click View All to see more options.
  • Resize proportionally: Use the corner handles to scale all elements of the layout together. Use middle handles to resize width/height independently (may push text to multiple lines).
  • Edit fonts: Double-click within a text element to change its font. Scroll through the font list or start typing a font name to filter. Each text element can use a different font.
  • Text Layouts: Click Text Layouts for special text arrangements — circle, arch, bow, dynamic (scaling block effect), and more.
  • Adjust fill color, stroke, and stroke thickness for each text element.
  • Important: Published text comes back to eDesign as an image — it cannot be edited in eDesign. Use this for headlines featuring fonts not available in eDesign, and write body copy directly in eDesign text frames for easier editing.
