Opening Workspace Controls

Access Workspace Controls in the control panel. Look for the eyeball icon on the right.

  • To show or hide individual elements, click the dropdown arrow next to the eyeball icon.
  • To quickly see a clean, complete preview, click directly on the eyeball icon, or press W. This will hide all non-printing elements at once. To reshow the hidden elements, Press W again or click the eyeball icon.

Visibility Options in The Dropdown

You can individually show or hide any of the following elements.

  • Grid — Document grid for precise alignment
  • Guides — Ruler Guides, Column guides, and Margin guides
  • Resolution Warnings — DPI warning symbols on low resolution images
  • Spell Check — Red line warnings under misspelled words
  • Name Check — Blue line warnings under names not on your name list
  • Name Tag Count — Number of names tagged in a each image
  • Sticky Notes — Any notes you’ve added to the page

Quick Actions in the Dropdown List

Easily reset your settings or toggle preview mode on/off inside the dropdown:

  • Hide All — Removes all non-printing elements from view for a clean page preview.
  • Show Default — Restores default guides and helper elements to their previous visibility.

Note: These settings only affect your current design session. When you navigate to another spread or close and reopen the spread, all elements will return to their default visibility settings.
