Accessing Practice Pages
- Go to the Book module.
- From the Edit menu at the top right, choose Practice Pages.
Using Practice Pages
- Each user has their own practice pages — changes are private to you.
- Use practice pages to learn eDesign features or experiment with ideas without affecting any actual book pages.
- You can do anything on practice pages that you can do on a real spread, with one exception: you cannot save practice pages. Their purpose is learning and experimentation only.
Saving Your Work as a Template
- While on practice pages, go to the File menu.
- Choose Save as Template.
- The contents of the practice pages will be saved to the template library.
- Drag and drop the template onto any actual spread in your book.
Leaving Practice Pages
- When you leave, a notification reminds you that your work will not be saved.
- Save your work as a template before leaving if you want to keep it.
