What a Book Style Includes
- Activating a book style in the Catalog activates all associated templates, mods, and artwork, along with a Style Guide template.
- See also the Activating Templates, Mods and Art tutorial to learn how to activate individual elements without activating the whole book style.
Using the Style Guide in Page Design
- In Page Design, search the template library for “style guide” and drag it onto the page.
- Placing the style guide template automatically activates all fonts used by that template — they are added to your Settings.
- The style guide shows all the colors, fonts, and graphics in the book style — useful for reviewing before committing to a style.
Adding Colors from the Style Guide
- The book style’s colors are NOT automatically added to your color swatches since you may want to customize or change them.
- To add a color you want to keep from the style: select the colored element → go to your color panel → click Add Swatch → the CMYK values preload → name it → click Add Swatch.
- The color is now part of your book’s swatches and available to all users on every page.
