Apply spacing lets you distribute exact amounts of space between selected objects. This feature ensures even spacing when arranging multiple elements on your spread.
Using Apply Spacing for Even Distribution
- Select all the objects you want to space evenly
- Open the Arrange panel from the top
- Use the Align command to align edges (e.g., align top edges)
- Go to Apply Spacing and set your desired spacing amount (default: 1 pica)
- Click Apply Horizontal or Vertical Spacing
💡 Common spacing values: 0p6 (half a pica) for tight layouts, 1 pica for standard spacing, adjust as needed for your design.
